Hongkong, 5th. June, 1917.

Mr. Hutchison has been under my care for some

time suffering from severe nervous and physical breakdown: he

is extremely unfit for work and his health is not improving.

I think it would be dangerous for him to remain here during the summer: and that nothing short of six months complete rest in a good climate will put him right again,
